She served for a decade as Vice President at the PR firm Farrell Kramer Communications, conceiving and directing client campaigns, and stayed on board when it merged in early 2013 with MBS Value Partners, a strategic communications and investor relations firm in New York. Sharon’s expertise extends across a variety of sectors and issues, from financial services, wealth management and M&A to senior care, education, sustainability, healthcare, psychology, and books — which she promotes as founder of the boutique firm BookSavvy PR.

Sharon began her career in the field of international affairs, first at the Council on Foreign Relations as manager of a nationwide information program on U.S. foreign policy and later leading business-government
communications for the Business and Industry Advisory Committee to the OECD in Paris.  She holds a Master’s degree in International Economic Policy from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and French from Tufts University. A bilingual French and English speaker, she lived for 12 years in France and is now based in the Boston area.
